Choose PLA when
You want a clean indoor prototype, display model, organiser, spacer, enclosure mock-up or hobby item. PLA is often the most economical place to start when heat and repeated impact are not important.
3D printing materials
PartPact currently supports two useful everyday FDM materials. PLA is a dependable default for clean prototypes and indoor objects; PETG is often better when a practical part needs more toughness or temperature resistance.

The part needs more toughness, a little flex, or improved resistance to warmth and moisture. PETG can suit brackets, tool holders, covers and other non-critical functional parts.
Material choice does not make a home-printed part certified or safe for every use. PartPact does not accept medical, food-contact, vehicle-safety, mains-electrical, weapon or other safety-critical jobs. Check the prohibited parts list before ordering.
The same STL can be estimated in PLA or PETG.
